# What is SP Reputation WG?

📊 This is the first version of a Filecoin Storage Provider reputation data DAO. In this DAO, a number of reputation data collectors contribute SP reputation information to a shared database that downstream reputation service providers can consume. 

:tada:At this stage (v1), we have completed the first milestone of the multi-fold effort to light up the Reputation DAO. Because the tokenomics are not yet in place in v1, we are calling ourselves the SP Reputation Working Group (vs. 'DAO'). **We are currently offering free access to our reputation database!** 

:purple\_heart:We are excited to partner with [Polybase](https://polybase.xyz/) for our reputation database. Polybase is a PLN-native web3 database that offers a wide range of amazing features. You will likely use their built-in read APIs for your projects.
